Wand Questions Answered

Q. What do you sell your wands a store called BattyShopper? I would expect your site to have a more mystical name and look like some of the other wand sites I visit.

Well, basically the short answer is because we already had the on-line store BattyShopper.

You see, our "company" is just my wife and myself. I craft the wands and handbook; she creates the bags and boxes. Remember, Frater RJ wands aren't "cranked out" in bulk. Each one is made individually, start to finish. While I guess some would prefer it if we made the site look more magical, we choose to put our focus on crafting high quality magic wands.

For several years we'd been offering items for Wiccans and others interested in subjects related to ancient wisdom in the "Spiritware" section of BattyShopper. Things like Tarot decks, Witches' Almanacs, and also the book "Wanding". Considering that, it seemed natural to just create a "Wand Shop" within the existing store.

While following the crowd and having a site that catered exclusivly to Wiccans or to Harry Potter fans might have been more fun, having another site that allowed for online ordering would just add additional costs which we'd have to include in the cost of the wands.
